Early Years Practitioner

Feathered Skies Limited – Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, Hampshire

30-35 hours per week

Feathered Skies Nursery & Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children below statutory school age.

This is a truly exciting role where you’ll get to work with a small and brilliant team whilst providing safe, high quality education and care for young children.

You will need to have experience of working in an Early Years environment and you’ll need to be qualified to at least Early Years Education and Childcare Level 3 (or equivalent).

You will have a sound understanding of child development and be able to provide examples of how you have delivered high quality education and learning to children. You’ll also have demonstrable and detailed knowledge of current legislation for Early Years and a commitment to continuously promoting a culture of safeguarding.

You’ll also need to have experience of Ofsted, Early Years SENCO and working in a Day Nursery with very young children. You must be able to build strong relationships with parents/families and be able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children.

A current Paediatric First Aid qualification and/or First Aid at Work is desirable but not essential.

Salary: a competitive, variable hourly rate dependent upon skills and experience (ranging from £8.72 – £10.72), plus excellent development opportunities and ongoing training and development along with childcare, bonus scheme, pension scheme and 20 days holiday.
